Sad. A bust for a 1st rounder but not entirely his fault. Probably do well on a team with solid CB's.

Will solid CB's keep him from holding? Or from PED suspensions?

Sad to see him go, assuming we don't make an offer - a good player, but one I think we can replace.

He will do well elsewhere. Under difference circumstances I think we would resign him, but we have talent behind him that makes more $ sense.

It’s the right decision. He isn’t very good. He’s consistently been terrible in zone coverage and draws too many penalties. Too undisciplined.

I just hope it doesn't turn into another "Malcolm Jenkins" fiasco. Becoming an all pro the year after we let him walk.

Saints can't run their roster scared.

KV was the 115th rated cb last season (this is where he played the majority of his snaps). As Chris stated, he's been consistently bad in 2 deep. Good against the run but a major liability against pass in man or zone.

I think the better comparison would be letting Roman Harper walk.

The question becomes who do we replace him with. My money would be on LaMarcus Joyner or Malcolm Burnett

I completely agree and KV has not finished a season since we drafted him, far too hot and cold.
