It would be a blessing though. He’s definitely the upgraded Kenny Vacarro.

I'd like to know more about what caused the problems with the Jets the lat couple of years. He was pretty productive for a good while there before a sudden drop-off.
Would be intriguing to have him, Jordan, Hendrickson and Rankins on the DL.

Mathieu would be an upgrade over Vaccaro, but he has too leave a lot of games being only 5-9, 186lbs (and that's being generous)...

He was scheduled to make 19mil this season and I just don't see spending that kind of money when we have other contracts to extend...

Much respect for the man he's become and his teammates in AZ have helped him to be, but his cost/benefit is not a fit for us...

Not sure what this gif has to do with the thread, but, ALWAYS happy to see a Trainspotting reference.

No more old broke down LB's. I like what we have now. We have a great rotation. Get a couple more hogs up front to tie up the blockers.

Teo
Robertson
Mauti
Klein ....
Anzalone (?)
Stupar

Good depth/role players but we have no legit linebacker in the middle.

I can't see how anyone can say we are OK at the position.

Re: Notable Cuts so far

Teo is a great run stuffer but he aint making the pick Deion Jones(ex LSU LBer.....just sayin SP!) made in the end zone against us. And Tyrann Mathieu would be perfect for us. Especially if we get one more pass rusher, Mathieu has elite ball skills and could rack up INTs for us. Mathieu is the real deal. I doubt they let hin go but I guess we can dream. Go get him Mike.
