He was scheduled to make 19mil this season and I just don't see spending that kind of money when we have other contracts to extend... Much respect for the man he's become and his teammates in AZ have helped him to be, but his cost/benefit is not a fit for us... |

I’ve been seeing this talk going around with Michael Thomas even trying to recruit him on Twitter. Apparently he will count $18.75 mil against the cap this season. If they cut him before the new league year they’ll free up $4.8 mil but have $9.3 mil in dead cap.
They definitely have to get his deal restructured. Would they dare take on that much dead cap and release him? |
