I wouldn't mind if Tim Brando took over, might cost a little more if he's still working for CBS to call SEC games

Re: The Search for Jim Henderson's Replacement

Damn... I've never heard anyone else but Jim Henderson at play-by-play.

His commentary before the Homecoming Game in '06, and his commentary
before the NFC Championship, and Super Bowl were masterpieces.

What a loss. You know, I've always lived in remote places, like Houston.
I cant tell you how many times I struggled to get WWL, and hear the game, thru all the static, weird radio noises, preachers, mexican music, & all the other interference you get on the am dial, -- and then I'd hear that voice, and I knew where it was, and the game was on.

I'm gonna miss JH terribly.

Re: The Search for Jim Henderson's Replacement

What a hot mess if that's the candidates...I'd prefer hiring locally, but farm it out if that's what it takes...

Jim Henderson was from New York after all...

Actually, I would mind raiding the MLB Braves for Tom Hart...

Between me and Skymike we could have a lot of fun with Bobby. We'd be the #1 rated broadcast team. We wouldn't teach much football, but people would definitely tune in. Folks love train wrecks. LOL
