Be patient. Stupar will be out there to pick back up when truly needed.

And the corresponding move has made me irrationally angry...

A lot of Payton's decisions this preseason have been concerning.

Release the best kick returner on the team - Keeps TLL
Raves about LB Depth - Gets rid of Stupar
Cuts half of our draft picks before week 1 arrives

The stupar one will bite us, this one could be disastrous.

How?

Stupar has been on 5 rosters in 5 years for a reason. Outside of special teams, he's never become a starter. As bad as Klein has been here, he would still start over Nate. His special teams ability will be limited with the new kick off rules (now we have more DB's on the roster) in place. I love the heart & desire be he's just a depth guy on a good day. Let the Giants have him.

Losing Drew Brees or Cam Jordan ... now that is disastrous.

I meant the Stupar one could bite us, but the Boston Scott one could be disastrous.

Lack of RB's led to our 2010 playoff downfall to the 7-9 Seahawks.

+1. Maybe the plan is to retain Gillespie well after MI suspension is complete?

At this point, I'm baffled on some of the roster (Tate, Jamerson, Scott, TLL) moves made thus far.

Same here, literally can't understand how TLL wasn't cut before Scott was. Scott looked like one of the more exciting players during preseason.
