We'll only see six, maybe seven linebackers make the team - and that's only because of special teams - until kickoffs are eliminated and that's now being floated... I have us keeping seven because the team may still be skittish from last season, but then again, they may just write it off and keep six... But it'll be versatility, playing more than one LBer position that keeps a player on this active roster... The likely six that I think have roster spots right now, I've underlined... Kikaha is no longer a fit on this squad and should've been moved to a 3-4 team two seasons ago; we'll be lucky to get a sixth, seventh round pick - if that... SLB (2) 53 - A.J. Klein, 54 - Nate Stupar, 59 - Shayne Skov (FC) MLB (3) 56 - DeMario Davis (FA 2018), 51 - Manti Te'o, 52 - Craig Robertson, 99 - Adam Bighill (FC) WLB (2) 47 - Alex Anzalone, 44 - Hau'oli Kikaha, 45 - Sae Tautu (FC) With the money spent on Davis, I don't see us taking Vander Esch now...it'd be a pretty elaborate smoke-screen... |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...
