He’s not going to take 22 and rightfully so. Pay the man 26 and be done with it. If they low ball and lose him then they get what they deserve.

Yawn. Of course they have. They also said on NFL Radio that it is a normal state of affairs. They call knowing there is no chance but it keeps avenues open with the agent, who is likely representing other players already on their rosters or whom they may be interested in getting.
