Drew Brees Deal is Done!
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; They do but that deal has to be paid via the cap at some point. Im not worried about anything i just don't want to see any stupid deals and mortgaging the future....

Yes. But pushing it forward means it becomes a smaller percentage of the cap since the cap keeps growing at such a fast pace. And, unlike a few defensive players blunders in the pre-Jeff Ireland era, Brees earns every penny allocated.
