This draft is going to be strange for us. We are in PRIME position to make a run. We need contributors right now. DL normally take a year or two to come around. Same for TE's. I could see us cashing out to move trying to get this player. Better to do it this year than next.

I’m just glad PJ Williams won’t be seeing much of the field this year

PJ Williams? He might not be great but he's light years better than De'Vante Harris.

? Patrick was one of the best slot corners last year in a division full of top flight QB's. His signing is a upgrade and fills a need. 4years @ 20M (half guaranteed) for a top 10 CB. Cap guru's will tell you that is a WIN/WIN for the Saints & a bargain.

What did I miss on P-roblem?

His entire career has been inconsistent, I'm not willing to annoint him the second coming of Lattimore because he graded out well with an extremely good front 7 last year.

Robinson fills a need (exit Vacarro in the slot) and is a upgrade at a bargain price in free agency.

If you look around the league, top slot corners typically don't come cheap.
