this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; He lost his hands a little towards the end of his career but he remains my all time favorite receiver. I hope Thomas surpasses him on that list....

Thing about him, he would never cry about injuries and he took some lethal hits. He was basically running TE routes. TE's just don't last that long unless they are stout like a Delanie Walker or Gonzalez.
