So you are so confident you propose a bet, then when it is accepted you back down? Is there a smilie with a chicken on it? It\'s a great pick remember? And Bentley was a guard and not a T in case you don\'t recall. Much harder to be a rookie T than a rookie G. But I am sure you knew that and didn\'t mean Bentley right? So why you backing down from the bet you proposed?

And Bently was really a center.......I agree with Billy on this one. I\'ll take the bet as well. DJ is good but more opportunistic than really talented.

smitty and coastal, not posting doesn\'t really effect you guys, neither of you post much anyway. I would bet straight cash with either one of you. But Billy posts these sunshiney smoke up the butt opinions all day, and it would effect him. Thus the proposal. If either of you guys wanna put straight money on it, i\'ll take it.
Gumbo, wow. Gallery played RT most of the year last year for the Raiders, and he was nothing special. No matter what side of the line he is on though, Gallery is a better player than Brown is. Next you are gonna tell me it\'s harder to play RT then LT. Wow dude. Know a little of what you are saying before you say it. [Edited on 24/4/2005 by saintswhodi] |

Forget the bet. I wasn\'t serious anyway. And forget Gallery. I don\'t care about Gallery. But, you\'re the same guy who said there was NO way DJ would drop out of the top 10. Right? WRONG!! Coach Vermil said DJ wasn\'t ready for the NFL yet and they would have to get him ready. Jamal Brown is ready. You can believe that!! And he\'ll be starting at RT from day one. You\'re not happy about that because you undervalue offensive lineman and \"focus\" too much on the \"glamor\" positions. At least that\'s what I gather from reading your posts. I on the other hand believe games are won and lost in the trenchs. It\'s been proven time and time again. [Edited on 24/4/2005 by GumboBC] [Edited on 24/4/2005 by GumboBC] |
