The bigger problem for me is talent. Too many undrafted or bottom round players at the TE position & Fleener is one concussion (had 5 in 2017) away from retirement. I hope the Saints target one no later than round 3.

At least Ben is back though.

Athletes who take care of themselves can play for a long long time. Drew and Ben Watson are good examples of what the human body can do when we reach middle age. The NFL is littered with players who played into their forties.

Some of the best rugby players are over 35. My twin brother felt like that was his best year ever playing highly competitively. Ann old rugby saying is age and treachery will overcome youth and endurance any day!
