this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Just look at some of the dud QBs taken before Lamar from that draft class ... Mayfield, Darnold, Rosen Searching for the next "franchise" QB in the 1st rd is such a crap shoot....

There have been plenty of quarterbacks that have moved to a new system and then flourished. Sometimes it's just seasoning and sometimes it's just the right program to elevate the quarterback. Much like we did with Drew Brees. |

Well, Lamar went down with a knee injury today. It can happen to any QB, but is much more likely with the style of game he plays.
