Payton/Loomis are stubborn in changing their carefree personnel ways, but Ireland seems to be a positive influence... It may be wishful thinking, but we may one day actually start to get compensatory picks, well, maybe... Quote:
Cam Jordan would lose his drinking buddy - serious boudéing; also, run the risk of RB attrition like the Seattle playoff game where we couldn't eat the clock... As close as we are, don't know that we screw with what's working; both RBs stayed strong the entire season sharing workload - that chemistry is rare... |

@RapSheet One more note on Brandin Cooks: #Rams are getting an incredibly productive WR who Sean McVay has coveted. But #Patriots didn’t see him as a true No. 1 for them... and from what I understand, Tom Brady is not sad about this move. Despite his numbers, Cooks wasn’t a great fit. 7:23 AM · Apr 4, 2018 That’s pretty telling. In back to back years two elite QB’s were ok with trading him. |
Re: Cooks Traded Again
The Lambs better win it all but I see all of these FA personnel moves blow up in their face. Can you imagine that locker room if they start losing?? Will Goff rally the troops? Or Suh or Talib or Marcus Peters? Boy ... Remember the "Philly Dream Team" back in the day?
As for Cooks, he's only 24 or so & can't cement his place on a team. When was the last time that has happened at the WR spot? Something definitely isn't right with him. |

Early prediction is that they fall back. There is also more game film on them now. |
Re: Cooks Traded Again
The Rams were building towards a consistent winner. I feel like they are falling into the hole of trying to win now by sacrificing the future. We sort of did the same thing several years back and it bit us in the ass as we accumulated enough dead money to fix poverty. The Rams will regret this tactic just as we did. They are going to end up cap stressed and be forced to let go of players they don't want to.

Re: Cooks Traded Again
The Rams are absolutely loaded this year. They have had one of the best offseasons I have ever seen.

Match-ups as it stands today (I know it's early BUT) ... Lattimore vs Cooks PRob vs Kupp Coleman vs Tyler Higgbee Marcus Williams vs X ... I like my chances in the dome with that secondary. Rams still hadn't addressed the loss of Alex Olgetree in the middle. Keep an eye on Goff. More tape on him now & good defensive coordinators will expose his weaknesses. |

They are going to be tough. I knew the Eagles were going to implode the second they signed Rodgers. |

Suh was a good pick up for LA. But he's only a great one because of who he's playing next to. I don't remember Suh having much of an impact last year when we beat Miami. |
