Re: Draft breakdown: Taking a wide receiver could still make sense for the Saints
Now that we've got our X or No. 1, I'd take a receiver on Day 3s of every draft, every year just to keep the position competitive and affordable...
In our system, I wouldn't spend a R1 pick on a receiver unless I could get that R1 pick back by trading an older, more expensive option, maybe... |

We still don't know what we've got on the practice squad. If someone slides then I'm all for it if he is BPA. We need speed to help open up the underneath routes.

Underhill is running out of things to write about the draft.

Re: Draft breakdown: Taking a wide receiver could still make sense for the Saints
I think Cam Meredith will help us a lot. He's got a lot to prove. He's shown flashes. I've seen he is pretty tough with the ball in his hands. I foresee him running some WR screens, breaking tackles on short curls, slants and hopefully puttin in work blocking on running plays. He can also stretch the D. He's fast. That being said, I want DJ Chark bad. I'll keep saying. If he ends up against us in the NFC South. Dang! It'll be trouble. Especially if he's paired with Julio Jones.
