To me, A-Mac is our prospect, like Matt Jones. |

NO NO NO... there is no QB controversy this year! please... Brooks is the man... its his job to lose. I do agree it will light a fire with Brooks. Look what happen to Drew Brees when the Chargers snagged Philip Rivers. Now in two years if ya want to create a QB controversy I\'ll give you that. But for now you give Brooks every chance now... You say ok, here is added help on the line for you that you want now here is your replacement if you don\'t deliever. Some players think that well I am the best one by far even when I have a bad day so I have them where I want them... well when you start bringing in others that will or could give him a run for his money then look out. You want a QB controversy... here it is... Brooks makes the Pro-Bowl this year!

Face it bro. The QB controversy started the moment McPherson was picked. I understand you love Brooks too, but you are in the minority. Most Saints fans have had it with his primadonna act and inconsistent play. I think he may be gone after this year REGARDLESS of how well he does. His cap figure is about to spiral out of control. His performance will just determine how much we can get for him. AMac is eight years younger than Brooks for one. He\'s smarter, stronger, faster, just a better talent overall. No one can dispute this. There\'s a reason that they\'ve been seriously eyeing this kid for over a year now. He\'s a first round talent that fell ONLY because of off-field problems. I guess they just brought AMac in for purely ornamental reasons. :casstet: And Brooks\'s best year(\'03) only got him in the Pro Bowl as an alternate. How he will pass McNabb, Culpepper, Farve and Vick is a wonder to me. He\'ll have to have an extrodinary season to make it on the field roster. |

And yet we all know that there will be endless threads Brooks vs. McPherson (who most of us haven\'t even seen play, but who just gets the benefit of the doubt) from now on to whenever. I\'m already tired of it ... |
