Yes, except our main weakness remains stopping the run up the middle.

The best talented team the Saints ever had was that 2011 team that could not scheme to stop Vernon Davis for two plays in that fateful playoff game. We may be close or better this time around too, but still need talent to fill depth, especially at OL. Let's see who they get today.

Now that we have a larger sample size we’ve seen Cam Newton, Russell Wilson, and Colin Kaepernick in recent Super Bowls. I don’t believe Jackson has any less issues with accuracy than a Newton or Kaepernick, and if you follow his college career he improved as a passer every year. He progressed through his reads, looked to pass first, and could fit it into some tight windows. NFL offenses are going to change the more and more they continue to let this style of QB in the league. At worse he’s Tyrod Taylor, and Taylor led that sorry Bills team to the playoffs. Of course, this is all just my own analysis.

Respectfully, I don't know that that was a scheme issue as I'm not sold on the talent nor the coaching at that time...

Our safeties were Malcolm Jenkins and Roman Harper...

While many rave about Harper and his ability to rush the passer, he couldn't cover; In fact, he was horrible in coverage.

Liken this thing with Harper to having a muscled-out Mustang that can't win a drag race but can competing in a light-duty class tractor pull...

Jenkins obviously excelled once he left New Orleans and arrived in Philly - Coaching Anyone?

Totally agree we currently just need some depth for the Defensive and Offensive Lines...

Not happy at all we invested two No. 1s in one player to get a starter; too much on one player and more Damn-It-Sean/Mickster Draft Foolishness...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Let it go man.

Sean has a vision for Marcus D ... much like he did to get Alvin Kamara.

If and when Davenport becomes a STUD, no one will care what was invested.

Rick Leonard - Tackle

Converted DE and started 13 games for BC in 2017 at right tackle

Okay pick but another project.... we had a lot of injuries up front last year.

The scouting report on nfl.com is terrible

Lacks fundamentals
Should land on a Practice squad

This draft is reminding me of the 2014 one so far, a lot of picks on guys that have the words "raw, high upside and potential"

We know how that worked out, SJB, Davis tull etc

Why when draft look like they drafted awful prospect the blame is on Payton but when it turn out to be a exceptional pick Ireland is the reason? :/

I am gonna say it and will gladly eat my words if I am wrong. THESE DRAFT PICKS STINKS and I wont be surprise if all of them is out the league in 3 years. At least when Dikta trade every pick we still had Ricky Williams for some years and was able to trade him for a 1st rd pick to Miami.
