Depth? Think Philly Eagles & that SB title. Quality depth is the name of the game at this level.

It's our time.
That's exactly what I tried to point out yesterday. We don't have many open spots on the 53 man roster. With all of our free agents factored in there may not be room for all seven of our draftees. If somehow there is it means we improved our depth by seven players. That is huge. With the youth and talent we have on the club already next year is even going to be tougher for a draftee to make the cut. The fact is that the 2019 1st rounder has never been more expendable. As was the 5th rounder this year. It was well worth it to pick up the only player with an excellent chance of breaking into the starting lineup on day one. There may not be one that could do the same next year, especially with the 32nd pick in the draft.
