Somehow we went through free agency and the draft and ended up worse at the TE position.

How come they didn’t keep him through camp to see how injuries shake out. Did they save a little up front by cutting him now or did they just want to give him a chance to catch on somewhere else?

Trainers came back and said there wasn't a therapy to correct 'not good' so they let him go.

He failed his physical.
Perhaps they don't want him scrambling his eggs while wearing a Saints helmet.
That probably wouldn't be a good look for the organization.

So does that mean a lesser cap hit if it is injury related?
