Please think before you spread negativity about our players. I think it was Bushrod that said in his interview that there are four or five players every year that get hit with a suspension based on taking the same supplement that many other players take and which is supposedly approved by the league. It is just bad luck that the batch that they used was cross contaminated with trace elements of an NFL banned substance. The vast majority of that supplement goes out to the general public so it isn't known the contamination even exists unless someone such as an athlete gets tested for the substance.
If this indeed was what happened it was just plain crappy luck. This would also explain why Ingram would have fought the test results "vigorously" and should most likely appeal the suspension length through a third party arbiter. |
