Mark Ingram 5'9'' 216lbs.
Boston Scott 5'7'' 205lbs.
All Ingram has on Scott is 2 inches and 11 lbs.
Scott is much FASTER

One very important detail you left out ... pass protection. Scott is unknown in this dept. MI has become is a hellava (is this a word?) pass protector for Brees ...specifically on 3rd down.

I guess we'll find out about the pass protection. My guess is that he has a huge motor and will. He was also a weight lifting champion and so I think he'll be at the very least serviceable and give Drew an opportunity to throw. Not overly concerned about it but definitely worth watching.

Actually, as long as Boston Scott has a honest willingness, it shouldn't matter - all teams have preferences on how they want their backs to block on each play...

Very interested in seeing what workload he gets for the first 4 games with Ingram's suspension

Very interesting, indeed, as whoever gets that workload is getting an audition and giving the team the insight on the long-term decision regarding Ingram...

And I don't think Saints RBs get to see the field if they don't demonstrate they're able to understand, execute their blocking responsibilities...

They have to earn Coach's trust...
