It was a defective relay switch, manufactured by a company out of Chicago, that had been installed a month earlier by Entergy outside the stadium complex to actually prevent a power outage. The trip setting of the part was too low.
The Saints and the Superdome took a public relations hit for that when it wasn't their fault at all. Why even bring it back up again? That was my point. It was an isolated incident. Let it go. |
