I think it was a great gamble. I was actually pushing for us singing him. He is unpolished though. New QB, new playbook and has not played football in a while. Most of what he has to do is mental. He has the physical ability. Can he do it? I do not know but I hope. Looking at his highlights, he was on a bad team snagging grabs in junk time. One of his TD's was a freakin hail mary that dinged off of a couple of players.
And, he was never considered as the two or three. That only happened due to injuries which fan boys will ignore. He was their best option by default. |
