The Saints, in respect to our franchise history, are over-due for a shut down cornerback...

Totally agree,and I know it's been said many times but we are very fortunate this guy fell to us and equally as fortunate that they were not stupid enough to pass on him

Honestly......we were some lucky bast**** last year when the draft flat out fell to us. But we were prepared and Ireland had a plan.

We've also had some pretty sh*tty luck - some of it our own Damn-It-Sean/Mickster doing - so we were due too!

Why worry about something that's four years from now?

The salary cap has been growing at a prodigious rate. In 2022 there will be plenty of money to spread around.

Better to enjoy the ride now than to worry about a distant and unknown future.

If he's playing at an elite level, absolutely you find a way; elite QBs, CBs, WRs, OLs, MLBs are the guys you pay to stay...

When we picked him 1st I said here we go again we were not having to good success with picking CB's in the first round. What a surprise
