Posts like his really bother me. Like I’m not excited enough for the season so they tease me with more offensive talent. SP should really be ashamed.

If you have four receivers you want to get snaps, then drop all four on the field and let Brees pick his poison.

When you have Kamara, 3 WR set with a blocking TE is usually the best option.

We don't gain much from our running game when we run a four receiver set. I don't think we'll see much of it though unless we can't get a good option at tight end. The good thing is most of our receivers block well.

I don't know Rugs, remember running the bubble screens out of the 3 & 4 WR sets with Pierre Thomas that featured very well-coached, disciplined down-field blocking...

Our no-huddle, 5 WR sets have always been something I like to see us run.

5 WR set, for Drew he would be like a Kid in a Candy Store...

If I recall correctly last year when we ran the four wide receiver set we averaged a pitiful amount of yardage. Most of our yards came on a long run from Kamara. Also, this isn't the same receiving group that we were playing with then. Who Knows? Maybe this group will gel and be able to produce from the four wide sets.......but without time together I'm looking at last years results in the rear view mirror. Kamara can run routes as well which has me excited.

Sean's right about week to week. If the defense's CB3 and CB4 can't cover dick, make 'em pay.

Kamara kind of reset the norms; but no question, we're going to be cutting some wide receivers who are going to be on other NFL rosters by Week 2...

Cam Meredith appears to be a guy who can turn a short pass into a big gain. We need that. If he can also manage to get behind the defense sometimes, he'll really help us. Of course as the forums main Tiger homer, I'm still hoping Travon Dural gets his legs back and becomes a great complement to Mike T. Some of the rookie WRs are also very interesting. When does preseason start?

Interesting comments, insight into what Cam Meredith may achieve in the Saints/Brees passing attack...

Too many receivers is a bad thing if they are not on the same page and understand that targets are not aplenty here. Also with two RBs, it's going to be hard to make everyone happy.

It 'aint Brees's job to make anyone in the offense happy. They know it. And they're fine with it. It's why they're still on the team.

Big Tall Receivers with one slot or RB running underneath and wheel routes - Brees is gonna have a field day...

Isolation with three big men in the red zone will be the solution to not having a cow-bell tight end...

Still hard for me to believe in a high powered Sean Payton/Brees offense, we were ranked 22nd :brood: in 3rd down conversion percentage.

2018 will be different though. It's our time.

Why is Cameron Meredith was an excellent free agent signing by the New Orleans Saints - YouTube

Funny story on that Cam vid. 7:20 about Brees in High School from one of the host who played on his TX team.
