Though it's hot as hell, fans, especially kids, get more of a chance to meet and greet, interact with their favorite players than they would at a game...

And you'd be surprised how much more insight you could gain by attending a few practices; when TC was in Thibodaux, it was Heaven for Saints Fans down here...
