this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; We’re heading to NOLA for Thanksgiving Game from San Antonio with the family. Taking my 4 year old daughter to first game. Any recommendations on where we could have a family meal for Thanksgiving before the game?...

Overnight Stay? ATL Game is that night, so are you looking for a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner that day and then work your way to the Dome for the game that night? Dress Code? I ask because some folks like to dress, go back to their rooms (or relatives) change into game fan gear then head to the game... |

Two years ago I took my wife on a "Baby-moon" to New Orleans during Thanksgiving. We also took in a Saints game and had a blast. You'll find many restaurants are closed for Thanksgiving Day. I would HIGHLY recommend a reservation at Shaya.
James Beard award-winning chef Alon Shaya (formerly under John Besch) making modern Israeli food on Magazine St. incredible flavors, something different than what you probably eat (im guessing) and a great experience to talk about. I've been in the food and beverage industry for decades. Trust me. |

I appreciate any feedback. Thank y’all.

Re: Need help
Ok, I didn't know the budget but it's hard to find a TG meal, great quality at least on TG. I would also look into country clubs in the area. Some do a great job with holiday meals and might be able to buy spots prior for non members.
