Here are some people who are still out there that may be of some interest to us:

WR: Az Hakim and Tai Streets
(Need depends on how you feel about Gardner, Henderson, Lyman, and M. Lewis.)

TE: Cam Cleeland
(Just kidding.)

DT: John Parrella and Norman Hand
(DT is still a need. Until an unambiguous statement regarding Sullivan is out, I'm sticking with this as a primary need. Can either of these guys help? I don't know. What do you guys think?)

ILB: Jay Foreman
(At least he's played more than two seasons, right? Experience may be just what our young LBs need... and he's not Ruff.)

Safety: Brock Marion and Eric Brown
(Do we really need help at Safety anymore? Leadership and depth?)

Cornerback: Dewayne Washington
(Sure, he's old. However, his stats have been pretty consistent over the last five years. If he has a year left, he's an upgrade over Brown/Craft/Thomas, isn't he? Of course, I don't think we can afford Ty Law, or I'd put him here too.)

interesting..very interesting...when in shape there all pretty good...as for the wideouts..we could u se improvement in that area as noone after horn is proven.

I personally would like to dump howard for picks next year and then move on with what we can find.

I\'d say no to the whole list except Foreman, and I would try him at SLB, which is what I think we need.

I\'d take AZ over Michael Lewis returning kicks though. Beerman was a great story, but he pissed me off year before last running out of bounds every damn return.

Hell no on Dewayne Washington. I\'ll take out chances with what we have. HE is Ambrose from last year.

Rocky Bernard UFA Seahawks – He showed improvement in each of his three seasons as a pro though he has been coming off of the bench. Bernard has a decent enough upside against the run and as a pass rusher that he should develop in to a solid third tackle.

If Norman Hand was in shape, I wouldn\'t mind seeing him come back. He\'s a huge run-stuffer and would help us to clog up the middle and would free up our linebackers a little more. Of course that if is a huge if, he\'s a fat tub of goo, but if a fat tub of goo could help, why not?

Yea he\'s got a point, AZ has helped us before.
Remember, He\'s droped the ball, Hakim has dropped the ball.

natedoog, strangely enough, I don\'t think there is anyone you would take over any current Saints player. Just an observation.

Sure i would, if it would be an upgrade. I dont think any mentioned would be an upgrade. Boo sucks and we need a real TE. An upgrade (dont really think Mier is a upgrade).
I did\'nt like T Jones and was all for getting rid of him.
So yes i would replace if it were an upgrade. Most everyone mentioned would be a backup.

I think Foreman is the best on the list. I\'m not sure he would be an upgrade over our starters (maybe at SLB, if he can play there), but I think he could be a valuable asset.

I\'m not opposed to Streets either (as a 3rd or 4th WR). However, that does depend on the development of Gardner and Henderson, which I have no current information on.

Very well then. I stand corrected.
