Cool!

I have a large Saints flag that has about 30 Saints signatures on it including Tom Benson, Weatherford, Strief, Harper, Faine and Drew.

MY MOST PRIZED SAINTS COLLECTION. (Great Story)
You can't buy memories like this for anything.

SUPERBOWL YEAR 2010

Sean Payton signed and then threw in to the crowd of hundreds of people a VERY RARE LIT UP MULTI COLOR LED POWERED FULL SIZE FREEBEE during the 2010 Orpheus Parade.
(The night before Mardi Gras.)

It shined and incredibly lit up the sky as it flew across everyone's head for a few seconds in the crowd that night. Everybody no doubt noticed and wanted it.

How I caught the thing in that huge crowd was a blessing from GOD. I estimate that the chances of me catching it was about 1 in 200+ because Payton could have thrown it to ether side of the float (left or right) and in any direction (front, middle, back).

I remember as it floated right across and lighting up the beautiful sky and then right into my hands as I beat the crap out of all the other people fighting me to catch it.

After I completely gloated and laughed at everybody who had just suffered such a great loss, I looked at the signature. Everyone wanted to see the signature but oddly... no one couldn't read it. It looked just like scribble scratch because... it was scribble scratch. SOB... He must have signed and thrown hundreds and we were at the end of the parade around Canal St and Magazine St. He had do doubt been drinking and he didn't care what it looked like.

I will always have both... the Memories and the Freebee. It still works, but the signature didn't get any better. I doubt it is worth anything since you cannot tell who signed it.

No doubt a family heirloom. :o

That's a great story - I love great stories like that, especially the way you recaptured the moment of flight!

THANK YOU.

It was an incredible experience but my wife said I embellished the story some.

But that's the way I remember it and the OFFICIAL STORY. ;-) Never mind that I had 10 shots of Jagermeister and consider... my wife doesn't even like football. She barely watched the Saints in the Superbowl. :pissed:

She didn't even care that I had experienced one of the greatest moments of my life. You can't believe anything she says about this subject.

2017 Mardi Gras :bng:

You might ask... If she doesn't like the Saints and didn't watch the Superbowl, then why did I marry her?
Her cooking skills aren't that great either.

Love you Honey... I'm going to the guys house for the game... see you later.
We have been together for over 30 years. She used to look a lot better.

Jagermeister can taste like Root Beer Barrel Candies.

Approved by years of Mardi Gras parade testing.

If your Jagermeister doesn't taste like Root Beer Barrel Candies, you are doing it wrong.

First... REQUIRED: it has to be FREEZING COLD. Second... you need TEST TUBE SHOOTERS. The test tubes shooters help keep it on the middle of the tongue and off the rest of your mouth. Third... THIS IS KEY... make sure the shot touches the front of your tongue where the sweetness receptors are.

Finally... Don't do the entire shot at one time and try to keep the shot on only the middle of your tongue. Do the shot in 3 or 4 tastes. This makes it easier to keep it right in the middle of your tongue. If you do it this way, it will taste like a root beer barrel candy and is oddly pleasant. I have shown many people at Mardi Gras how to drink this correctly. All were convinced. If you don't do it this way, it will taste like medicine especially if it isn't cold enough.

Doing Five or Six shots will give you a great buzz the entire parade and you won't have to pee.

Trust me... it works. I always have a bottle of Jagermeister in my freezer.
