Could Phillips be the answer to an unhealthy Hoomanuwanui?

I would imagine that we are keeping a good eye out for TE's that are behind good players and might get cut. We're looking a little thin there right now. I wouldn't be surprised to see some kind of trade go down before the season kicks off.

Very difficult to find a good TE. About 3 beast in the NFL. Rest of the crowd, hardly any separation. Cameron Brate is probably the best one in our Division. I would say Olsen if he can stay on the field.

At this point, if Watson's age or Hoomanuwani's injuries have caught up to 'em, I'd just go into the season with Hill, Arnold, Phillips and/or Yeldon...

What I don't want to see is a will he or won't he play weekly distraction from Watson or Hooman with either's health...

If he's too old, release him, let him rest, do his own conditioning and then maybe bring him back late...

Hoping John Phillips can stay healthy, available and make the roster so we can move on from Hooman, who's ever unavailable...
