It appears as of now Savage will be the back up. I’m sure with hills skill set we will carry 3 though

Terrance West is garbage. Same back-up O-Line but Jonathan Williams looked absolutely electric.

Still too early too tell re:backup QB, but Hill threw with more authority than Savage - that stood out to me tonight...

-No big injuries.
-Thomas, Kamara and Ingram are ready.
-OLine was solid.
-Smith was a steal at WR. Legit.
-Kirkwood looks legit.
-Williams is a better runner than West or Vereen.
-Savage is a game manager. Solid.
-Hill looked good after the jitters. Still a work in progress though.
-Lattimore AND Crawley are ready.
-Pressure was good.
-LB's in coverage was not good.
-Defense looked good in regards to the new helmet rule.
-Stallworth can find the ball. My camp beast.
-Lutz was perfect.

We won the game with Brees doing nothing more than smelling the field. Their starting QB had to run for his life for a TD and their kicker had to boot 50 yd bombs.

We were pretty bad when our starters were in with the exception of Kamara, Ingram, Thomas. Defense was worse. Lattimore didn’t look good, pretty much have been hearing that from start of camp.
Hill seems to be as advertised and looks like we finally have some kick returners.
We do have depth. Lots of negatives but some positives as well. Nothing to sweat about.

Good grief yes. #58 is pure trash. He was clueless out there & missed too many tackles. He should be bagging groceries before the 1st cuts.
