I'm cautiously optimistic. After all this is Ian Crapreport. Not to mention what happened with Guice. All the reports in the morning said A-ok, just a sprain. But by early afternoon he had a torn ACL and done for the year. Fingers crossed.

Is it just me or does it seem odd that Ian Rapoport and Adam Schefter seem to get the reports from the Saints faster than our own local boys?

Its plausible that the League might want to preview all news before it goes public, and it could make it to the national media before some locals.

The NFL is a marketing/reputation machine these days and with email and txt they can easily vet all news quickly.
