I know I'll probably get flamed for this (I may deserve it) but I think we've bought too much into that angle. In 11, 12+ years, coach has yet to develop even a backup QB despite taking more than a half dozen bites at the apple. Just about every season we've been left with hoping a veteran can fill the role. I've come to believe that it's simply about talent & we just lack it at the position behind the Great Drew Brees

I hope within the next couple of years, we pick high with real proven talent at the collegiate level & develop at the QB position.

Brees can't do it forever.
