I’m starting to think Payton has Austin Carr making this team. He’s had an incredibly quiet training camp/preseason but he’s getting very important first-team reps tonight.

Main thing with Savage is he looks as though he can't go through his progressions.

Hill had a defender on him on 3rd and 7, Savage throws a 2 yard pass inaccurately. Even if that pass is caught it isn't going anywhere.

Savage, look elsewhere a take a shot to the endzone!

He seems to have a good lean for his size... he is applying some time of pressure almost every play. If he can learn a good bull rush he’ll be a beast.

That's what I mean, it doesn't matter if it's 3rd and 14 or 3rd and 6, if his first read is a 2 yard crossing pattern he'll throw it regardless.

I don't like him as a starter but he's the best of what we have...good or bad
