RE: T. Brown or A. Hakim

Who would you rather at WR Az Hakim or Troy Brown?
I would go with Troy Brown. He's a winner and a Super Bowl champ. He's versatility is unmatched. He can play WR, KR/PR, CB. He knows how to catch and get open. Everybody complained that Brady had no recievers, but the Pats WR group always gets the job done. Jumping, twisting, turning to make a catch. He doesn't lose focus, like some of our recievers after they get a lead.

Hakim on the other hand wouldn't be a good fit here in New Orleans. Nobody would give this guy a break. If he dropped one pass it would be over with for him. You know what the fans would be chanting. While Hakim has good speed and is a slot reciever, would you ever let him return a punt?

RE: T. Brown or A. Hakim

I'd say let M Lewis battle D Henderson for the #3. Loser being the #4.
If they had to bring in a vet I'd say T Brown, he's sure handed. We have enuff speedster's now we need a surehanded vet.(expectially if J Horn goes down)
Beside's aint AH coming off an season ending injury?
Knowing our FO they will prob bring in someone like Tai Street's or someone who hasn't ever been that good.

it's like you said T Brown has sure hands........and thats what we need.............Stallworth is our #2 but has not played to his potenial.....so why not pick T Brown up and let Stallworth & Henderson battle it out for the #2 & #3 WR spot.

I'd love Troy Brown on the cheap. Reliable, consistent, selfless, and the guy certainly knows what it takes to make a winner. Plus, as a guy that can actually go both ways if things get drastic, he'd fill two needs. #3 WR and if Fahkir doesn't show up or Thomas gets hurt again or Craft isn't a stud like the FO thought... at least we have a decent nickel CB.
