You never ever take what an athlete says about their own health, their own status, etc with anything more than a grain of salt. Never forget vilma's last camp he was talking about best shape of his life etc etc. Anytime you here the best shape of my life spin...almost always over. Athletes are trying to make money, they put poop shines on everything....I think we all know dishonest people like that. Meredith is going to take time...but let's not forget we knew this was a risk. He had one good season and was undrafted. Right now he seems to be still finding his way back from the injury while learning a new system. Maybe it pans out...maybe not. We will see

I get my information from every source I can access. I read everything I can concerning the Saints and watch everything I can about the Saints. I don't take anything at face value but use all sources to form an opinion.

He claimed that Payton said Meredith was going to play most all of the game and that it was a final judgement of sorts. "Quite a bit of work" could entail a couple of quarters when talking about the preseason. But, I was just asking for a source where Payton actually said what Beastmode claimed. I was already aware of the link he finally did add.
