Gillislee Visiting Saints

Gillislee is visiting the Saints on Sunday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

"Gilislee lost out to Jeremy Hill in New England but may quickly land on his feet with a New Orleans team that ended cutdown day carrying just two healthy, non-suspended RBs on its 53-man roster. The 27-year-old would provide a power element alongside Alvin Kamara and Boston Scott while Mark Ingram is suspended for the first four weeks of the season."

If this happens wondering if he splits with Boston Scott or just insurance until Ingram returns. Hard to say. Leaning towards insurance policy until Ingram returns if this goes down.

Highly likely we sign him. More I look at this situation though it looks like insurance. I doubt he sees the field much. Boston Scott is the real deal.

Had to do it he's outta here when MI returns. He would have to run like old school Chris Ivory and that ain't happening. Boston Scott is about to blow up. I bet he gets close to the touches Ingram got and handles it well.

Picked him up yesterday and nobody knew who he was. I got a strong flyer candidate for a month for $1.
