The thing that made our running game so great last year was that both Ingram and Kamara can catch the ball in space and make plays.

I have a feeling that Brees will be throwing 35+ passes this week....not a good way to start things...

Coaches must be seeing a bit more. How is Boston's pass protection? I think if Payton was confident in his ability, Scott would be here. I think the staff trust veterans more. Let Gillislee run inside the tackles & see how he does.

Personally, I'd rather have vet RB's protecting #9 until Mark Ingram returns from suspension.

I agree 100%.
Also Scott looked decent but up until Sunday Williams was considered a lock to make the roster by pretty much every report I read. Williams was the clear front runner. Williams effort on that last run hurt him. Hopefully a wake up call.
