Why do you think rules should be changed because something MIGHT become legal? The NFL is full of hypocrisy and inconsistent rule enforcement, but this is one thing I won't disagree with them on. The law is what it is, right now, and so there is a policy against smoking weed, and he continually breaks that rule.

If you have such an addiction to something, that you can't cut it out to keep a job that pays you millions of dollars, then you have a serious problem. It's not just a harmless recreational thing, at that point. Drinking IS legal, but if you are abusing alcohol, you have a problem.

I am of the opinion that marijuana is far less harmful than alcohol. But I don't think it is something that should be used irresponsibly. Ricky Williams knew the rules, and so he just left the country to pursue whatever weird stuff he was/is into, where he could smoke as much as he wanted.

Addiction is a disease. Millions of dollars. No dollars. It’s far more complicated to quit something the body is craving than many think. Some quit, cold turkey. Others struggle. I’m not concerned about his addiction to marijuana. Hungry. Sleepy. Lethargic. Don’t care.

As far as legality, I’m positive it will become legal. What if he played for the Broncos? He’s in a state where it’s fine but he still can’t because they rather him pop prescription pills to deal with things? Like I said...I’m just not buying it.

Gordon's first two NFL seasons were highly productive; in 2013, his second season, he led all players in receiving yards and was a first-team All-Pro selection. In his NFL career, Gordon has been suspended multiple times for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. He was indefinitely suspended by the league for his fourth violation during the 2014 season, being unable to play for the rest of that season, along with the entirety of the next two seasons. Once Ingram is back we will have more balance. Other receivers will get chances. I think Smith emerges but it needs to happen quick

I beg to differ!!! It helps me with my ADHD!!! I also take multiple prescriptions including Xanax........but a couple of puffs takes all the tenseness away.

Don't judge me until you walk a football field in my cleats.

Edit: I am probably the most tightly wound person you ever met......before I smoke. After that........it's all good!
