If we don't turn the ball over & the D creates 2, we win. Can't have a breakdown in kick coverage.

This game is always a slobber-knocker. I actually like our chances better in Crap-lanta. SP & crew seems to get them focused for big road games.

I think Nolan did a solid job of making adjustments from week 1 to 2. Klein played better, Davis was fast & Teo seems to be really consistent against the run.

We'll need these guys to play well on Sunday.

Klein definitely played better and Davis too. Where is Robertson's playing time?

It seems by game 3 the Saints somehow get the word that the season has started.
Must be because we are so far South and news travels slow.
One things for sure just wish we had Ingram for this game.

Early odds are out:

New Orleans at Atlanta (-3) (O/U: 53)

I am in a 45 player (plus IR) IDP legacy fantasy football league and out of nine LB's on my roster Klein was the highest scoring with 15 points (6 tackles, 3 assists). Of course, I had him on my bench.

Sporting News Picks Against the Spread

NFC Game of the Week: New Orleans Saints at Atlanta Falcons (-3)

Sunday 1 p.m., Fox

The Saints needed a better defensive performance against the Browns last week, and they got it. The Falcons' offense woke up against the Panthers, but on defense, the effects of not having Deion Jones and Keanu Neal in the middle of the field almost cost them. Drew Brees will exploit that weakness and out-duel Matt Ryan.

PICK: Saints win 27-24.

I sure am hoping for a bigger margin than that.

STRAIGHT TO THE POINT WITH NO "WHY YES I'M AND EGGSPURT AND HERE'S WHY" TO SUFFER THROUGH. THE SAINTS EITHER WIN OR LOSE.

As is with every game played. In my un-expert opinion the Saints will win and continue their run to the Lombardi!

If there’s any week they should keep two safeties deep, it’s this one. We’ll win this game.

Turbo, don't even think he saw the field vs Cleveland. Kinda surprised to be honest.

Re: Anyone ready to talk about Sundays Saints-failclowns game?

Side note on the Browns game ... did anyone notice the lack of plays made by Myles Garrett? A complete non factor. As I stated pre game, our O line is by far a strength & Terron Armstead is one of the best interior lineman in football when healthy. Myles (a very good promising player) had one tackle all game. One.

Meanwhile Unger had his lunch taken away. Not sure of the Browns player's name but he had his way a few times. Max will clean that up. He's too good of a center.

Falcons are playing better ball than us. That said, this could be the type of game that wakes us up. It's almost always a good game between these teams. Hope this wakes us up. Their injuries might help too

The other issue is Atlanta has a solid oline

Apart from Armstead not being an interior lineman I couldn't agree more.

Jones struggled last week. Missed 4 grabs. RB Chris Thompson and Golden Tate are are above him right now for reference. He's not all that anymore.

We have the best WR of all time for the first two games. MT is on fire.

But Calvin Ridley is looking like a good replacement for Jones. And then when you stop worrying about Jones, he makes you pay.

No he ain't dead, I am.

Anyway, the homer in me says we win a tough one on enemy soil.
But...… logic, reason, & evidence says unless the clowns have total mistake meltdown, this won't end well for N.O. fans.

The Dude 09-20-2018 09:07 PM

Re: Anyone ready to talk about Sundays Saints-failclowns game?

I think we win this one. Payton has had two awful games to look at with plenty of mistakes to correct.
We have the personnel in place to out play these guys on defense. He doesn’t have to out scheme teams as much anymore. Just put players in their natural positions and play them.
On offense find a way to get some of the pressure off Kamara and Thomas. I would like to see more of Carr.
Brees, just don’t suck.
If these guys can’t put together a good game against a division rival like Atlanta then they won’t be getting it together period. It’s not going to be any easier next time around if they get healthy.

Well, if there's anyone that could totally melt down, it would be the Falcons.

The Falcons are certainly prone to meltdowns, unfortunately we are not plying well. I feel on the fence because I do think the Saints can get it together.

No Deion Jones, Keanu Neal, Devonta Freeman and now potentially Takk McKinley.

So he won’t be able to knock out kamara I like that would that hit be a penalty this year? It was jones I believe

Anyone's guess as to what we will get from our defense ... specifically the guys up front.

I really think Payton’s going to do something to drive up the score with our de in withdrawal symptoms Brees to repay for that pic to jones last year

Not sure if you caught any of the MNF game but the Bears pass rush was just consistently over whelming (I know they have Mack but still) & no one is ready to anoint their corners as being good.

If we can disrupt Matty, stay disciplined @ linebacker, eventually he'll throw it in the hands of Lattimore and/or Marcus. Dennis Allen just doesn't need to over think things.

Saints by 7 ;).

Re: Anyone ready to talk about Sundays Saints-failclowns game?

I think the Falcons literally only have 2 DE’s available for this game and they’re both garbage and small (Vic Beasley and Brooks Reed.) Armstead and Ramcyzk should ragdoll them.
