lol... I think I watched the first Starwars ever when I was maybe like 12?! Other than that, I stayed away from the rest of them. Goodness I guess I'll go rent the trilogy and then I'll catch the new one. Geez!
But really... how many are there... 3 and this new one is 4 right? What if the skip the first 3... will I still get it? All I know is Chewbaca and those laser swords are pretty tight... and something about a Luke Skywalker or something. |

Okay papz, that was over the top. This is really insane dude. Nice joke. If you look above, I said to watch 4, 5, 6, then 1, 2, 3. That makes 6 total right there. But nice joke dude. You had your laugh bud.

LOL I'm totally serious about not watching any though... poor me. |

Just wanted to drop a line 'n say howdy.
The site outage coincided with personal situations that will keep me away a while longer. I'm getting married next week so the real world isn't allowing me time to indulge in Saintly diatribes. Without getting into the particulars of the situation, I will say the Benson-Blanco show has been both disgusting and hurtful to me personally. I need a little space to be able to face the upcoming season and the team without all the negatives of that issue overshadowing my thoughts and emotions. During the site outage I lurked all the other Saint boards as many of you. The site versus site bickerings I find juvenile. Each site has it's own personality and style. I hope everyone can find a place that works for them without need for bashing others. This board is not without any criticism from me but it is the one I choose to invest my thoughts and time into. There are some very passionate and knowledgeable fans here. Kool-Aid doesn't work here. Spout your opinion as opinion, but have some facts and data if you want to forward it as anything more. I encourage everyone to focus on the message of football and not be sidetracked by the messengers. As disparate as views may be, you have to be a diehard fan to spend much time posting here. Anyone who can support perhaps the historically worst franchise in NFL (that has the dark cloud of looming departure hanging over it) is surely committed. Either committed or needs to be committed!! I hope to be back in the saddle regularly again here in a few weeks. Until then I'll keep checking in to see what veteran linebackers the current lust is for, what Sullivan actually hits the scales at, and if he has found any motivation to keep his ass moving yet. Laissez les bons temps rouler! |

I suppose it really just is that slow time of year as noted earlier in the thread.
Kelley, good to hear from you on the site! Congrats again. I agree with Kelley, lets try and stick to football. I'm glad we're all taking the time to get readjusted after our brief time apart - at least those who are taking our return seriously. However, I look forward to getting back to discussions that are not related to other boards. There is a good core of people here - from the frequent like Whodat, Danno, BnB, Whodi, and papz to the new guys who are just waiting to post after having lurked for sometimes several years. I know, I know, whenever you mention names someone feels left out, so this is for everyone: I missed you guys, and I'm glad we're back in business - thank you Halo for a great looking site. |
