Re: Saints place Tommylee Lewis on IR
They probably felt Lewis was more game ready. He knew the passing plays and could also return kicks. Perhaps they felt Scott just needed more time to get the running scheme down. I think Scott is more in heir long term plans. Just like when I asked Strief about Rick Leonard going to the practice squad. He said he told Leonard that the practice squad is a good thing so don't get down about it.

Or they could still bring back Tate, I suppose. |

I'd prefer plan C (Tate) + IMO he had a solid camp. If coaches like what they've seen from Meredith in practice, it's quite possible he is activated on Sunday. |

It would have made sense to bring him back after the first game if they saw him as a temporary fix to avoid the full season guaranteed salary. I'm not seeing if he's been picked up elsewhere, though.

I was really pulling for him but he just couldn’t get it done. What’s Tate doing? I see Armstead is back on the injury report.

Re: Saints place Tommylee Lewis on IR
I really don't see the appeal of TLL. The guy gets tackled if a defense player farts on him. I don't feel he is even average as a receiver. I just don't get the love affair.
