CM and anyone else are insurance policies. I like CM but it's beyond crazy to think he will be a factor at all but this keep surfacing so I keep trying to live in reality. I hope he is great but if he really has been healthy since preseason game 4 he has had more than enough time to get ready. It shouldn’t take a veteran this long to be able to step in and play. He had the entire camp to study film and learn the playbook and has had weeks of practice with the team.

You do realize Cameron tore his ACL and MCL? Being a veteran/studying film and learning the playbook has nothing to do why he hasn't been active. The Saints medical staff and coaches are being smart with his return.
Those Adrian Peterson type returns to greatness in 9 months after tearing major knee ligaments aren't the norm at this level of football. |

They can't keep relying solely of Thomas to handle the entire WR load. That's asking for trouble. Carr and Tre'Quan haven't been able to become reliable targets to this point. Ginn has had his issues even though he has received a dozen targets or so. They had plans for Meredith and now is the time for him to start playing dividends whether you like it or not. Regardless of what you say it seems you are hoping for his failure just to be able to say, "I told you so."
