It's actually very rational. He was the star on a 3-13 team where several of the starting WR's were on IR. If not for that he would have never seen the field or not enough to matter but that happened so here we are.



Nobody has emerged as the slot WR. 1 catch does not make anyone the hands down winner. It takes a body of consistent work for that to happen.



What is irrational is basing anything off of one 11 yard TD grab with nothing else behind it. He literally has 1 single catch going into week four.

I hope he has success and know everyone on this forum wants that to happen. What I won't do is crown him the slot at this time. You made a personal bet against other players on your team. I have no skin in that game. I never bet for or against him or anyone else. If you lose the bet then there will be a financial loss and also ridicule by others.

Just not something I get involved in. I have a higher morale code. I root for what is best for the team. If he emerges great. So far nobody owns that role and we are heading in to week 4 and , as I have firmly stated, would be the case. He has one catch just like everyone else. It is a TD but it is also for much less yards than the other two receptions by quite a bit.

If you believe he is going to be rolling as the 3rd WR then great. I base my convictions on reality. He has already had a setback as he stated in injury recovery. I took that as actually bad.
