4th and 5th WR
So, who's gonna be that 4th and 5th WR?
I don't know half these guys. Is there a sleeper pick to fill the Special Teams & 3rd down possession type WR we want? I think barring injury its gotta be Lewis and Gardner. Chase Ly...., oh year, forgot. Maybe next year. But we just got Nate Poole, you forgot him. He was able to do some nice things In AZ, maybe he can be our 4th guy.

It's definately going to be Gardner as the 4th... he has all the tools. Hopefully he can put together one decent season.... say 30-40 catches and 4 touchdowns would be nice. Lewis will be the 5th and Poole after signing a 2 year contract will probably be our 6th. Thyron Anderson is looks very intriguing and will probably be on our practice squad. He has nice size and good speed... and project basically.

CAUTION.... CAUTION...
There is currently a LOT of credit being extended to Dante "I pulled a hammy taking a nap" Stallworth and Devery "What does the field look like again" Henderson. Nate Poole COULD be our number 2. Have a nice day. |

I meant who is going to be 4th and 5th on the roster, not the depth chart.
I think we all agree Horn, Stallworth and Henderson will make the team. That leaves 2 spots open. I think Poole and perhaps the new guy Ron Dixon may push Talman up or out. |

Got it. So you think the Beerman is done? I thought that last year, but he found a way.

Poole hasn't really done anything in his NFL career except catch that game winning touchdown which he is remembered for. Jumping him up to number 2 is kind of hard to see/imagine. I'd probably hit the powerball if that happened.
Yea I meant them being 4th and 5th on the roster also and the depth chart (Gardner and Lewis). Ron Dixon was an excellent kick returner for the Giants a couple of years ago and I believe he was injured last year. The guy is a burner but didn't exactly have the best of hands. Well the same can be said about Gardner, Stallworth, Henderson and Lewis... so I guess you never know. I thought we were looking into signing Dixon... did we really do it? |
