If they don't throw deep ro Ridley every play, they are stupid.

Re: Saints at Falcons Age Day Thread

We’re missing Peat, no matter what his PFF grade...

Going to Ginn on third downs is not reassuring at all..

Great two-minute drill by the Saints to finish the half with a strong leg by Lutz...

For sure!! I am glad we are being smart this game, take the points as long as we are ahead.

Fast forward to the second half ...

Gotta get back to running the football with Gillisbie or Williams whether they get two yards or 10. Getting into a shoot out with PJ on those boundaries is asking for heart break.

Dial up more pressure. Make it a little harder for Ryan because our secondary is still on the bus. It just feels like there's a whole bunch of Jason David's back there.

^^This..we need to start taking some chances with some blitzes. Like we use to say about GW defense, live by the blitz, die by the blitz. I just wanna be in the middle of where we are and what GW had.

Really it's just one though. They haven't gone Lattimore's way more than once or twice. Haven't seen P Rob give up anything. It's just PJ getting abused over and over. I was really hoping this would be his moment but it obviously wasn't meant to be.

Can we give it a go with 10 on he field?

Please?

Re: Saints at Falcons Age Day Thread

Is it impossible for Saints DBs to defend deep passes?!?

And to add insult to injury, we just lost our nickel back..

ChrisXVI 09-23-2018 01:51 PM

Re: Saints at Falcons Age Day Thread

Draft two CB’s, cut them both and they get claimed by other teams while we’re left with this.

I think it's more of a product of them just not needing to go that way.

Re: Saints at Falcons Age Day Thread

Thats what I hate about Crawley, he is a penalty machine! Don't turn his head, runs through receivers. So frustrating.

brees84 09-23-2018 01:52 PM

Re: Saints at Falcons Age Day Thread

They just throw deep and get easy first downs or points.

nola_swammi 09-23-2018 01:52 PM

Re: Saints at Falcons Age Day Thread

That PI could've been called also on Williams

frydaddy 09-23-2018 01:52 PM

Gonna be a long day folks. And now we're losing DB's.. this doesn't look good.

Why is it that so many players over the years have had their coming out party against the New Orleans Saints?

I’m just going to say it. Minnesota broke Marcus Williams. He sucks.

jeanpierre 09-23-2018 01:55 PM

Re: Saints at Falcons Age Day Thread

that is not a touchdown...

He didn’t have possession and get both feet down before stepping on the sideline....

papz 09-23-2018 01:55 PM

More like broke the whole defense.

K Major 09-23-2018 01:55 PM

Ridley was out of bounds.
