Re: Observations from today's dramatic OT win over the FailClowns
Never could understand why Sterling Moore can’t find steady work. We’ve seen him shut down some great WR’s. Obviously it’s a personality problem but right about now I’ll take him over Crawley and Williams.

Re: Observations from today's dramatic OT win over the FailClowns
Being in the Carolinas, I didn't get the feed for the game so I need to ask: Did the LB play improve?
Were the DB's as confused on route assignments as they looked? Did it look like Dennis Allen was making any adjustments to the secondary during the game? |

Re: Observations from today's dramatic OT win over the FailClowns
As much as I love my friend, Rez, I am afraid he has become a tad bit too domesticated to step into our defensive backfield at this point.
He'd run circles around all of us, but he needs to save those hamstrings for chasing young ones. |

Re: Observations from today's dramatic OT win over the FailClowns
I see an offense that once again has to score 40 points a game to win. Just like the three 7-9 seasons in a row. If they don’t get it together we will be right back there at .500 . And to think our secondary was supposed to be a strength.
We won in there house. Tough team to beat. Hopefully we take advantage of the dome next go round. Brees is as competitive as ever. |

Re: Observations from today's dramatic OT win over the FailClowns
More of a what can we do to get better observation.
If we're going to play 10 yards off receivers and still get torched with short, intermediate, and long passes, it wouldn't hurt to be more physical and incorporate more press coverage. At least we have a chance to knock them off their rhythmn. What exactly do we have to lose? |

Re: Observations from today's dramatic OT win over the FailClowns
-Saints win!
-Two wins in a row. -Brees, Thomas and Kamara are the best. -Taysom is just a football player. -Watson made a couple nice plays. -Meredith, Carr, Hill, Ginn and Line contributed. -Williams made a key block on the Line catch. -Lutz is a weapon. -Peat just can't get healthy. -Loomis doesn't have to worry about anyone on defense asking for $20 million per. -Davenport contributed. -The run D was solid. -Was hoping PJ would retire at half. -Horrible secondary coaching, schemes, and adjustments. -Robertson still not playing defense. Complete stupidity. -Anzalone is not a NFL caliber LB. -Cheap/stupid shot by Onyemata. -Davis just looks lost. -No one is making plays. Any plays. The whole freaking game. -Time to play bend don't break defense. No big plays. Make them execute for 75 yards. |

Re: Observations from today's dramatic OT win over the FailClowns
I'm not going to lie... on the design qb run with Hill(on the long gain), I thought it was Drew. I was in complete awe and thought to myself "WTF! Someone stuck a rocket up Drew's ass!" Then I realized it was Hill.
Taysom Hill is a heck of a football player. Regardless if it's covering a punt, running the football, blocking, or whatever we have him doing, he gives it 110 percent on every snap. What a good story he is. |
