Week 4 vs NYG
NYG is pretty bad, and pretty much what we need right now.
Their O-line is a liability, and their D just average. Pretty much Barkley and Beckham and very little beyond that. Engram is probably out. Need to get win #3 and come home healthy |
Re: Week 4 vs NYG
I really think that most of the members here would have been satisfied coming out of the first three games 2-1, although most would have expected that loss to be to the Failclowns in Atlanta. We should be at 3-1 following the first quarter of the season.

Re: Week 4 vs NYG
I am not gonna eat the cheese with the game against NY. They just beat the sh!t out of the Texans and Eli looked like he hasn't in a cpl yrs. So either its a trap for us or its a trap for them, lol. Clears that right on up huh.

Re: Week 4 vs NYG
I had us at 4-1 going into the bye week. We haven’t looked good in our wins but I don’t think our problems on D run that deep... fix one position and we are good.

Re: Week 4 vs NYG
My initial thought about this game: You can forget about establishing the run. There won’t be any running on Damon Harrison, Dalvin Tomlinson and BJ Hill.

Re: Week 4 vs NYG
Expect the NY coordinators to go after our #2 CB ...again.
Losing P Robinson in the slot is a huge deal. |
Re: Week 4 vs NYG
Another wild west shoot out. I keep spilling my Kool-Aid all over myself Dang

Re: Week 4 vs NYG
Just seen a stat that NY is 29th against the blitz. So it should be obvious what we have to do.

Re: Week 4 vs NYG
I’m not convinced we will win. Eli and OBJ alone can rip us to shreds. Luckily their defense isn’t that great. I think we win in another sling fest. Last team with possession wins.

Re: Week 4 vs NYG
This is not gonna be a easy game being it is a back to back road game, and we are coming off a win in OT.
|
Re: Week 4 vs NYG
Even with Ingram out I still like our chances. At least the weather in NJ
will be decent which will favor Brees. If we can get early pressure on Eli the way Dallas did than we have a shot walking outta there with a Win. |
Re: Week 4 vs NYG
Saints lead the series with the NYG in the Sean Payton era 4-2, but both of those L's were Saints at NYG. The last time the Saints beat NYG at NY was 2006.
And something interesting I noticed, the Saints 2006 talent roster looks very comparable to the talent on the Saints 2018 roster. You can almost compare 2006 player/position that's very equal to a current player/position, like Kamara & Ingram to Reggie & Deuce, Mike Thomas & Ginn Jr. to Colston & Joe Horn, Lattimore & Crawley to Mike McKenzie & Jason Craft... etc. etc. Maybe it's like that every year, but I thought it was especially close in comparison between 2006 & 2018 rosters. |

Re: Week 4 vs NYG
I think we finally put it together defensively because if DA is half-way smart he'll go back to pre season defense when Crawley and Lattimore and Williams looked great and add in a lot of blitzes.

They also have Alec Ogletree. Very athletic LB. Avoid Jenkins and we will be fine. |

Re: Week 4 vs NYG
Giants vs. Saints: First look at Sunday’s matchup
A shootout. That is what we have come to expect when the New York Giants and the New Orleans Saints play each other. The last time the teams met, in 2016, was an aberration as the Giants eked out a 16-13 victory. In four matchups prior to that dating back to 2009, one of the two teams always surpassed the 40-point mark, with the score twice getting into the 50s. The wildest was, of course, the Saints’ last-second 52-49 victory in 2015. Will this one be another high-scoring affair? Well, the Saints are second in the league in scoring at 34.7 points per game. Quarterback Drew Brees is completing an unbelievable 80.6 percent of his passes and is in the process of re-writing the NFL’s career passing record book. The Giants haven’t scored 30 or more points in a game since the final game of Tom Coughlin’s career as the team’s coach — 37 games ago, including the playoff loss to the Green Bay Packers. The Giants, though, played their best offensive football in a long, long time in Sunday’s 27-22 victory the Houston Texans, sparking optimism that the 30-point streak will soon fall. I’m just waiting on the defense’s complete turnaround; just like last year after week 2... Lattimore & Crawley need to step their game up! I also expect to see Davenport getting more snaps :bng:

Re: Week 4 vs NYG
We need another win on the road to help gel this team. We also need for DA to dial it down a notch and stop confusing their offense as well as our own players. Simplify the defense and run more zone. We aren't getting it done it man.

30th in total defense and dead last in points... Not what most members here expected. Considering how we've played, I'll take 3-1 all day long. But things have to turn around because the meat of our season is almost here. |
