Because we were too overloaded with talent. Can't you see it all over the field

I think we should put Taysom Hill on as Strong Safety against passing plays, Middle Linebacker against running plays, Slot receiver on offense for five yard outs , and Tight End for going across the middle. Also, he should cook at Emeril's, organise Mardi Gras and run a lemonade stand.

I think we have no choice make some cuts and bring in anyone promising to try out or make some deals.

I think we do have a choice. For the most part this is the same defensive personnel from last year. It's not like they've forgot to play football.

Allen needs to reign it in for a bit and put the defensive backfield in coverages that keeps receivers in front of our safeties. Trusting Williams and Bell to cover up the mistakes of Crawley and Williams when they get suckered simply isn't working. The defense will give up chunk plays to be sure. But it's the balls over the top for the 50+ yards TDs that are currently killing us.

Something like a pure Cover-2 or Cover-2/Man under will force teams to matriculate down the field. The more we do that, the more likely we'll get a 3rd down stop, or a turnover, or force a field goal.

Somehow we need to force underneath throws and keep everything in front. That's the way to win.

Super Bowl Championships: New Orleans Saints:1, Carolina:0, Atlanta Chokers: STILL ZERO

Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good.

DA is out thinking his own players. Go back to what worked last year.

Re: Sterling Moore visiting the Saints

In 3 games, the Saints defense has one turnover. That puts us on pace for 6 for the entire season .

With all of the issues we have defending the long ball, the defense has to be able to create turnovers if you expect to win long term.
