Thank you! I'm not sure what people are wanting out of Rankins. He isn't Aaron Donald, but he is trash. He always seems to get accolades from former player analysts ... as I now discover includes you.

Well you tried to use these lines last year and in the off-season the media, SP, and Rankins himself discussed how disappointed he was in his play last season. None of what you put out was at all true. The truth was the team was saying things like that so they didn't kill his spirit. But he is supposed to be AAron Donald, yes that was what he was supposed to provide. He hasn't. He hasn't been able to accomplish much since NF retired. When NF was getting a lot of attention SR flourished. He apparently needs a very good DT next to him. That's not what first round draft picks are supposed to require. Go look at Sed Ellis stats and get back with me then

so far SR as a first round draft pick as high as he was selected is a bust. I continue to hope that changes

Your team stinks

Yeah, he's not doing any of that, and he is supposed to be applying pressure, he's not

True I never said he was but not every down is to apply pressure it down and distant a lot and contain up the middle too but I’m not giving him a passing grade either

It really is sad to watch some members of this board pretend that a first round pick who has actually done nothing since NF retired continue to pretend he is worth a darn

He has 1 sack bro, 1. He was brought in to sack QB's and apply pressure up the middle. He is not doing anything.

When ever the Saints draft a player in the 1st, I hope and expect to get a quality starter, so now we're debating expectations. "Stars" are hard to find, and you might get a handful in every draft, with it taking a couple of years as a starter for them to even shine. To say he's missing in action is simply false.

New Orleans has a quality starter.
